anyways, i had my second driving lesson today, and it was way fun.. nice instructor again.. pretty funny.. today i had to go up a slope, and STOP on the slope, before continueing lah.. oh man.. so scary.. when i released the handbrake, i was so scared the car might roll backwards down the slope, and my instructor was like, must step on the accelerator ahz, when u release handbrake.. so the moment i released, i stepped the accelerator so hard, and the car went pretty fast down the slope.. heh.. very funny man!!! wah, but today my lesson was at 7.50pm to 9.30pm, cos i cld only go after work.. and there were so many cars AND motorcycles in the circuit!! i absolutely hate those motorcyclists learning lah!! they dun look where they go!! hmph!!
and while i had to turn my car in a bend, this car on the outer bend, turning just in front of me, suddenly braked lah!! now someone pls tell me, how on earth can someone just brake and stop AT A BEND???!!!! hahaha...make me have to suddenly brake also lor.. and no, i can't take shocks like these.. lol..
just heard someone else's grades.. and it made me kinda depressed for moment.. darn.. i knew i shouldn't have asked.. urgh..
NUS talks at the open hse tmr.. will see how it goes.. supposed to go with kenneth, russ and chua.. will see how it goes tmr..

anyway, woke up this morning with eyes slightly smaller than usual, and a little itchy. went to work anyhows. As the day progressed, BOTH my eyes got smaller and smaller, and both my eyes are now swollen.. with the eyelids puffy and red.. it's soooooo itchy but i've to refrain from touching my eyelids. It got so bad, that my mum came to pick me from work in the afternoon, to go to the doctor. Doc says it's an allergy.. to wad, i'm not sure. Now both my eyes are half the usual size, and my field of vision is my eye level and below. i can't open my eyes big enough to see more than that, and it's really extremely uncomfortable.
doc gave me an mc for tmr, so i dun have to go to work. *hee*.. he says i shouldn't stare at too much bright light or the com too much..
please do pray for me, that the swell, redness and itch wld all go away... thankies!!

The A level results day was a major disaster. I've never cried so much in my entire life. Cried for 3 days over my results. When i got my results, i jsut broke down and started crying, cried on the phone while telling my mum my results too. That very night, i cried myself to sleep.

Saturday morning was lynn's surprise birthday party. Was a lil hesitant as to whether or not i should go for lynn's party, but decided to go instead of cooping myself at home, and thinking of silly thoughts. The party was pretty alright, took my mind off certain things for that day. I enjoyed the outdoor service, and playing table tennis with alvin, jon and sop.. hahaha... the ferry ride back to the main island was hilarious, cos we were on the 2nd deck, while OTHERS were on the bottom deck. Those who were there will noe who the OTHERS were.. lol..
then walking out the the ferry terminal, this truckful of 'IMA' workers drove past us... and changyuh and marcus went and shouted "BYE" to them. MY GOODNESS>. it was hilarious, cos the ima pple started waving and saying bye too.. hahahahahaha... dinner at harbourfront was an enjoyable one..
sunday's service was really good.. i enjoyed listening to the speaker.. i was hoping she'd pray for others besides pple who needed healing.. but she din. Lunched with the zgmights at marina square.... before we all went to suntec. Joy, sop and i went to the career fair to get brochures before meeting up with the rest of the zgmights again. It was fun hanging out with them.. i laughed so much on sunday that i think it can make up for the time i've cried in the past few days.. heh... really enjoyed their company on sunday...

first and foremost, thanks to michelle for the lovely purple bracelet.. it's gorgeous!! and secondly, i had my first driving lesson today!!! oh man.. it's really fun!!!!! arrrgggghhhh.. really really very fun lor.. now i can't wait for my next driving lesson on fri!! hee.. i learnt how to reverse, brake gradually, drive round bends, go up and down slopes, stop at traffic lights etc. OH YAH, i have to pay special mention to this, i learnt how to change a punctured tyre!! my goodness, so next time, if any of ur cars have punctured tyre, i can help u all change lah!! hahaha.. it's really cool, how the car body can get lifted up from the ground just by using that simple car jack thing..

aiyoh.. but my instructor was nice lah.. very funny also.. the most embarassing thing that happened during the lesson was when i had to turn at a very sharp curb, and i mounted the curb, cos the car was too close to the curb!! omg.. i almost died lah.. sooooo embarassing..and my instructor was like laughing lah.. cos i was like, " oops!!" when i mounted the curb.. heh...
i can hardly wait to drive my OWN car!!! hee...

i can't believe myself, but i woke up at 12.30pm today!!! It's the first time i get to wake up so late anyway.. every wkday morning, i've to wake up at 7 for work.. then the past few sats, i've to wake up at 8 plus, cos there's tambourine practice. Sundays, alarm at 7am. So today was the only sat i cld wake up late. Went to church for youth com meeting. It was enjoyable as usual.. loads of funny stuff we tokked bout. Seminar at 3pm. It was quite alright.. easy to understand, and not boring. So i'd say it was good. Youth service had the usual pple again today. Played human tic tac toe today, and it was ..well... violent!! hahaha.. but somehow i feel, the more violent certain games are, they tend to bring more fun.. hahahaha...
Mich brought dunkin donuts all the way back from BANGKOK!!! woohoo.. they sure looked yummy.. but i din eat the mini ones, cos there was custard in them. But i tried a bit of the choc donut, and it sure was YUMMILICIOUS!!! yum yum.. i want more!!! heh...
Youth service was pretty alright.. after youth service, went to suntec with sop for dinner and to shop around.. and i got a new mango top!! yay!! wanna get my white heels from charles and keith tmr too!! can hardly wait..
mrt-ed home with sop later in the night, and sop decided to take a cab home. So we alighted at dover, and we were gonna flag down a cab from dover. OMG, NEVER EVER try to get a cab or even alight at dover mrt at night!! that area is totally empty!! there was not a single vehicle in sight along the whole stretch of road!! it's those kinda roads where u can stand in the middle of the road, and take like photos, posing in at least 5 different ways, without getting knocked down by a car or sth. that place was simply deserted, and while waiting for a cab, the most freaky thing happened...
sop: (suddenly turned and faced me) omg, did u just tap me??
me: erm.. (raising eye brows) no... why??
sop: cos i just felt 2 taps on my shoulders
me: omg.. sop, dun scare me ahz.. are u sure??!!!
sop: yes!! i felt two taps on my shoulder, that's why i thot u tapped me!!!
oh my goodness, i almsot died.. when sop asked me that, my hairs all started standing lah!! somemore, there was like nobody else there, but the two of us, by the side of an entirely empty road!! Thankfully, a cab came soon after!! how freaky!!!
